Gay Lynch is a creative writing academic, working adjunct to Flinders University. [http://www.flinders.edu.au/people/gay.lynch] She attended the 2016 and 2017 Australian Short Story festivals. Lynch has published academic papers, Cleanskin, a novel (2006) and short stories: most recently, in Meanjin (2017), Westerly (2017), Bluestem Journal (2017), Meniscus (2017), Griffith Review (2016), Best Australian Stories (2015), TEXT (2015), and Sleepers Almanac: 8, 10 (2013, 2015). She is working on an historical short story cycle.

Lynch has an MA from the University of Adelaide and a PhD from Flinders University. She examines postgraduate degrees, reviews Australian fiction for two journals, and enjoys reading in public.
