Anna Solding is a writer, editor and publisher. She has a Masters and a Ph.D. in Creative Writing from The University of Adelaide and is the co-founder of two literary magazines. She is the founder and managing director of MidnightSun Publishing, an Adelaide based publishing company. Her first book The Hum of Concrete, a “novel constellation,” was shortlisted for several awards. Together with fellow publisher Caroline Wood from Margaret River Press, Anna co-founded the Australian Short Story Festival in 2016. As the co-director of this exciting short story festival, Anna is constantly on the look-out for new voices, but she is also trying to occasionally set aside time for her own writing.
